Gustav is a 23 year old photographer who originally comes from Örebro. The interest in photography was born when he moved to the Swedish ski resort Åre. Since then, the interest has become more a just a hobby and Gustav Hallén Photography started in 2008.
He sees himself primarily as an action photographer but also do jobs in advertising, wedding and his own projects. He tries to find the balance between the projects he undertakes, and his own projects. He has done work for example Monster Energy, Rite.se, Oscar's Nite Club, Surfskolan.nu, Surfers.se and Red Bull.
His images have been published in several major magazine such as Kiteworldmag, Outside and Nordic Surfers Mag. He spends both winter and summer to travel. Although much of the time now spent in the office in Varberg.
In 2010, he works as a photographer for Surfers and for Carbrinha s team rider Arild Kristiansen. Although the project's Rent A Photographer, giving surfers the unique opportunity get shoots by a professional photographer.
He finds great inspiration in particular Chase Jarvis, David LaChapelle and Shu Akashai.
